Call 911 for Emergencies and more
The island uses 911 to route emergency and non-emergency calls.
From www.hbtown.com:
"Calls for Service (Emergency/Non-Emergency) If you need Police, Fire or Emergency Medical Services, please call 911. Even if you do not think you have an emergency, it is the standard locally to call 911 for all services (even non-emergencies) required from these agencies. Our 911 operators are trained to obtain critical information about your specific call for service and can provide lifesaving instructions when needed, so please be patient and answer all of their questions accurately. Doing so will provide you with the best service in the most efficient manner possible. Please refrain from calling your property management office/representative for these services. Doing so will only delay the response to your needs and most often causes a omission of vital information due to multiple parties being involved in the transfer of that information."

Televisions
Downstairs Living Room: Turn on with the ROKU TV remote. Find the YouTubeTV app on the ROKU home screen to watch local channels and cable networks. Also, you can sign into your own streaming accounts like Netflix, Disney+, Apple+ etc. Pro Tip: This remote has a button for Voice commands. It is especially helpful when signing into streaming accounts.
Upstairs Living Area: Turn on the TV with the Hisense TV remote. Find the YouTubeTV app on the Google TV home screen. Like downstairs, you can sign into your own streaming accounts.
Primary Bedroom: Turn on with the ROKU TV remote. Find the YouTubeTV app on the ROKU home screen to watch local channels and cable networks. Also, you can sign into your own streaming accounts like Netflix, Disney+, Apple+ etc.
Broadband
Our internet provider is Focus Broadband. Since we subscribe to their top broadband tier, you should get super fast speeds. If things seem to slow down, the cause is almost always having too many devices connected at once.
If you reset the modem (tall black box located near the living room TV), you will also have to reset the silver pods that provide wifi routing. One is below the TV on the right and one is in the upstairs living room to the right of the laundry room door. Simply unplug them and plug them back in after waiting 30 seconds.)
Kitchen (see photos below)
Spare Blender: In the cupboard above the fridge, there is a spare toaster and a spare blender. Feel free to use them if the primary ones break down.
Mesh Produce Baskets: There are baskets with mesh netting located in the pantry. These are very helpful in preventing insects from getting into any fruit you store on the counter.
Oven/Range: The oven has traditional baking as well as convection and air frying capabilities. When air frying, the manual says you do not have to pre-heat the oven. Please use the provided air frying crisper set with a basket/rack for your food and a tray to catch drippings either directly beneath the basket or on a lower rack positioned under the basket.
Beverage Fridge: To prevent the buildup of ice, please keep the temp at 39 degrees. Also, make sure there is room for airflow by not overpacking the fridge.
Disposal: To prevent clogs for you or future guests, do not use the garbage disposal for grease or proteins.
Weber Grill
Grill utensils can be found on a lower shelf in the pantry next to the fridge.
By law, you must grill no closer than 10 feet from the house. Do NOT grill under the house!
Please empty used ashes/coals in the can provided.
Cleaning Supplies
There is a vacuum cleaner on each floor tucked in a bedroom closet.
There are mops and brooms in the closet to the left of the downstairs powder bath.
After rain falls, you may want to wash exterior windows. Items are on the lowest shelf in the pantry. Please only use plain water when cleaning.
There are toilet brushes in every bathroom and at least one plunger on each floor.
Supplies
Extra lightbulbs for virtually every light fixture in the house can be found in the upper section of the pantry.
Basic hardware/tools, flashlights, batteries, and matches can be found in the upper section of the pantry.
Some child safety items can be found in the upper section of the pantry (e.g. electrical outlet covers)
A baby gate (for toddlers or dogs) is stored either next to the washer upstairs or in the closet to the right of the downstairs powder bath.
If you want to bring your own baby gate, know that the stairway from the top to bottom floor has a width of 47".
Blankets and linens
We replace the mattress pads and pillows on each bed every year or so, and there should be back up pillows in some of the bedroom closets.
The decorative shams have been stitched shut to prevent them from accidentally going into the laundry bags with outgoing sheets and pillow cases.
There should be extra blankets for each bed. Often they are in the closet in the primary bedroom upstairs.
Heating and Air Conditioning
There are thermostats on each floor so you can regulate the temperature in two zones. When running the air conditioning, please keep all windows and doors closed. If you for some reason the AC stops working, call Proactive and request the use of portable AC units.
Water Detectors
There are small white water detectors located in various parts of the house. If they detect water, they will send a notification to the homeowners. Please leave them where they are if you find them.
